Our Hippie

These are a few cute shots from the other morning. Amelias is a true Austinite, look at her in her Tyler's shirt. The search committee that hired Kyle gave this to her (along with so many other really great items in this huge baskets. I felt like a celeb. receive swag...life with Kyle will sometimes do that...you know he was in a band...maybe you've heard of it...Tuesday's Anthem...no, never heard of it???) -one look at that sentence proves my ADD (which reminds me of a funny story, I'll get to that later). Back to cute chica in the tie dye.

she is working hard to balance herself. A few things to note: her eyes are blue and her hair is red! And the folds!! Precious baby fat I love. I keep telling her to stop growing! I want her to stay this age forever! But she already ignores me and is growing well. Matter of fact Kyle started calling her Amelias (plural) a while ago and now I've started doing it. My friend Julie (who is a funny one) said something to the effect of "yeah, because its like there is more than one of her, so she's plural" I about fell out laughing, yep our subcontous must have picked up that. 

Okay so this is her starting her "roll." She is rolling to her back and and rolling to her tummy! (PS.ADD.-this is how I will from now on address tangents in my blog, there is the most annoying car alarm going off, one of the reason its so annoying is because I'm hearing it through Amelias baby monitor, she's sleeping. Another reason its annoying is because Kyle just came inside with grease all over him and turns out he's the culprit. He's trying to replace his car battery and some how the way he is going about this task produces the alarm instead...hmm)

Oh I love this face!!! She's bracing for another roll. (PS.ADD-my mechanic's situation is getting worse and my baby is starting to jabber). She has been rolling over for quite sometime but NEVER in my presence. Kyle had seen it many times, when I get her in the morning her rolling abilities are obvious. So this was the first time I'd seen it first hand after almost two weeks after acquiring the skill.

In this picture I think she looks like her cousin Kolter. You can see a lot of Kyle's mom's side in this one.  This post has taken me forever to write. About 30 minutes ago my mechanic finally woke up my baby, so we had some cereal and got dressed for the day. (PS.ADD- I got a pedicure and I'm becoming obsessed with the color, OPI Cajun Shrimp).
