Winter ONE-derland

Welcome to our party. Court and I decided to spare all of our friends a double dose of birthday parties and have the girls first birthday parties together! Our theme was Winter ONE-derland...obviously :) It snowed the day before and wouldn't you know, day of party...oh a bright sunny 70 degrees. Typical Texas. SO the s'mores buffet and fire pit wasn't quite the hit. We served white yummy goods (Powdered Donuts, Pirate's Booty, yogurt covered pretzels etc...) plus cookies and milk.

The sign said Happy Brrr-thday!

Amelia was working the crowd. She loves books and more the people that will read them to her. She spent a lot of the day looking a books and asking people to read to her. Who can refuse the birthday girl?

We can trace Amelia's love for Gain back to this moment.

Since Amelia hasnt had sugar I didn't want to overload her with a sugary birthday cake. So I found a healthy muffin recipe, (icing had plenty of sugar). I made Amelia a spin off of a carrot or spice cake with apricots, dates and cream cheese icing. We decorated with edible flowers. She loved it. Kyle finally had to take it away. Selfishly we wanted her to save us some, it was soooo good!

Happy Girl!

                                             Sleepy Girl

She went straight to bed and opened up all her presents in the morning. To which she would like to say

      Thankful girl
