Pumpkin Patch

Remember October? I barely do. It's a blur of orange and croup. 

Bourlon's and Bender's took a trip down the road to the Pumpkin Patch to take pictures of the girls. It was the perfect opportunity to put Amelia in the adorable Halloween outfit that her Pa-Pa (Kyle's dad) bought her last year. The girls were mesmorized by the grass and not so much by the event of smiling in front of pumpkins. 

Amelia showed off her new face. We call it the Bulldog.

The sound effects that go along with it, clinch the name.

She did pull out a few smiles.

These are the faces they stuck with. These two are quite the pair.

A week later we went back and met a few friends. Again, no smiles but it was later that day she began running fever and caught a cold that turned to croup that turned to bronchitis and eventually whooping cough (awesome!) We just now are feeling better.

These faces are so much better than a smile! I love them. She rarely pulls out the bulldog anymore (so sad). The Elvis is still a strong favorite though.

Group shots are the best! Moms make fools out of themselves trying to get everyone looking the same way at the same time and to smile on top of that! The day it works is the day I will play the lotto! Here are some of my favorites!

Starting with the best first (cause I base my entire meal around dessert). 

Do you see it??? Look closer, right above Jolene's head.  She is "2 seconds away from disaster." No one saw it coming especially Jolene. These girls are a little boring for Gain, they don't play catch, they just sit around.

Emrie says uh-oh, tumble... Piper down. Harper sustained no casulities in the stunt. Meanwhile Amelia and Jolene are captivated by a piece of grass and Gain perfects his model moves.
